Time passes, I know, but I still remain constantly and utterly shocked. It’s 2009. Wow. Anywho, it’s been awhile since I stopped by Kitten Heel Marvel, but I have no excuses. When you’re too lazy to scrub the tub (I will get to it today, if it’s the last thing I do), you’re too lazy to do other things, like update the JournaBlog and all those other things.
Nothing new in the neighborhood. Still woefully unemployed, still looking, still hoping for something concrete. We’ll see.
“Paul Blart: Mall Cop.” Anyone who knows me is well aware of my movie snobbery. If I don’t see a trailer equipped with Brit accents or Emma Thompson or “Academy award winning” preceding the actor’s name (although, these days, that means nothing. Here’s to you, Halle “Catwoman” Berry and Cuba “Snow Dogs” Gooding, Jr.), I won’t see it. That’s me. Whatever. Anyway, my point is that, despite my unwillingness to see anything that doesn’t make me “think” or anything that has–blech–animation, Paul Blart was awesome. It was hilarious, silly, heart-y. It was great. The critics panned it to high heaven, as to be expected, but who cares? Pretty good movie. I enjoyed it.
That’s all she wrote for now.
